I happened to find a slideshow on some beautiful nature pictures entitled “Amazing Nature Arts“. I find that the pictures are really beautiful to share it here on my Blog.
It is good to look at nice stuff and appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature. So, take a moment of your time and enjoy the amazing nature arts created by Dinisha to de-stress.
I have published 201 Blog posts on this Laingan.com Blog so far and yesterday’s Blog post on Happy Mother’s Day was my 200th post. Wow, I almost cannot believe it that I have come this far!
Actually I could have reached the 200th Blog post earlier if I were diligent enough to update it daily 🙂 Well, the fact is that I’m not lazy as I have been busy working on my new website design since April. There are a lot of stuffs for me to think, plan, organise, write, design and so on before letting my new website go live.
I have been thinking about my website design these days and have not spent much time in organising my thoughts as to what topic that I plan to write about for my Blog post. The writing juice just doesn’t flow when your mind is just too tired and can’t think of anything to write about.
Anyway, I’m planning to finish up my new website design by this week so that I can move on to other new project that I have given myself. Hopefully, I can find time to update my Blog regularly after that.
Today is Mother’s Day. I would like to wish all mothers all over the world HAVE A VERY HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!
It includes all new moms and mother-to-be especially my Seremban friend who will be giving birth to her first child (a baby girl) in this coming June.
I also won’t forget about all my mommy-friends. You know who you are, right? I don’t have to mention names here.
I would also like to say Happy Mother’s Day to my dear mom although she is no longer living in this world. I get emotional whenever I think of her. I still feel the pain inside me for losing my mom. I wish her well and I miss her much.
Most if not all of the people do set New Year resolution at the beginning of the year. Me too, of course. In fact, I have a list of items that I plan to do within this year.
I need to do a proper planning in order for me to realise all of my goals. If you have your dreams too, you should also find time to make a good planning and build up the momentum of taking action everyday.
So, how should you and I go about doing it? Well, I believe the key to achieving any dream is to build up a momentum through constant action towards the goal. In this way, you will reach your dream when you do something everyday that improve your situation.
I also believe you will succeed when you make an action everyday even if it is small or it may seem insignificant. You are closer to your dream if you do something everyday. It is simple logic.
Let’s say you plan to finish a project in 30 days. If you make an effort to take an action everyday, your goal is actually closer today than it was 1 month ago.
It doesn’t really matter on whether you took gigantic leaps or just small moves. What is important is that you are in fact 1 step closer to your goal everyday. It does make a difference.
So, the right way to achieve your goal and realise your dream is to build up the momentum of taking action everyday.
I have been busy practising to create eCover graphics after purchasing the eCover Studio FX v3.0 software a few days ago.Â
I think I’m very engrossed in creating web graphics lately as I can spend hours sitting in front of my laptop clicking buttons here and there. I’m kind of wondering whether I’m addicted to web-graphics creation or not 🙂
So far, I have created a few eCover graphics featuring in different styles ranging from 3D software box, hardcover book, eBook with CD, think book, spiral report, iPhone, iPod and so on.

Actually, I’m quite satisfied with the software except for one item, ie. without anti-aliasing. I think it will be better if there is an anti-aliasing feature to smoothen the jagged edges.
Anyway, the price of the software is quite reasonable as compared with that of a few software creators who charge incredibly high which is close to 100 bucks. So, the eCover Studio FX v3.0 software is still a good choice for creating eCover web graphics.
I attended a personal development training program entitled Personal Effectiveness (Supervisory) yesterday and today. This is a 2 full-day sponsored training program to teach people on how to develope yourself so as to become a better person.
The topics that the Personal Effectiveness (Supervisory) training program covered include how to have a right mindset, how to set goals, how to manage your time, how to manage stress, how to do financial planning and so on.
I think all these informations are valuable things that we can learn to make ourselves more effective in dealing with our daily lives. We are what we think so it is very important to cultivate our mind in such a way that we occupy our mind with positve thinking.
We are what we think
We must learn to discard all the negative thoughts that we might have because these are the things that hinder us from moving forward. Positive thoughts will attract positive things to come to us and make our lives better.Â
So, I think this Personal Effectiveness (Supervisory) training program is a good course for anybody who wishes to develope yourself and cultivate your mind with positive thinking.
I have just purchased a new web graphic software online to create eCover. The software name is called eCover Studio FX and I find that it is a very cool software tool.
There are a few types of eCover graphics that can be created using this web graphic software such as 2D & 3D software boxes, eBook, spiral report, DVD case, CD, iPod, iPhone, membership, etc.
I have just tested out a sample by creating a 3D software box for my Laingan.com Blog. Here it goes :

Hmm, I think the effect looks cool and I’ll create more samples when I have the time.
I have not been updating my Blog as regularly as I used to do. The reason is that I am too busy working on my new website design.Â
I write my own content for my website as writing is not a problem for me. I also design the web graphics all by myself and I find that I realy like to design graphics. There is really no limit to our imagination and creativity.Â
Probably, the only limitation is “YOU” yourself if you do not take the initiative to move the very first step. Now, I have taken the action to move my first step and I’m glad that I have done that. Reason being that I find that I can design decent web graphics although I have never actually learnt graphics design before.
I was from no idea about what to design to now creating presentable web graphics. Even my niece also says that my web graphics design look cool and her compliment really makes me feel happy.Â
Well, I won’t be complacent after hearing her kind words. There are still a lot more that I need to learn and practise. I want my web graphics design to be as professional as possible.
Now, my new website is about 80% complete after working on it for close to 5 weeks. I want to complete most of the items that I wanted to cover before letting it go live. Thus, I won’t allow myself to do a rush job just to meet the deadline. So, stay tuned.
Almost everybody is talking about how the global economy downtown has caused great impact to their businesses or to their jobs. Most if not all of the companies are cutting back on their spending and even on investment.
But one of the famous companies is going against the flow during this global economy slowdown. This daring company is a household-known soft-drink company called Pepsi. It is reported that Pepsi has spent an unbelievable $10 million dollar for their new logo design.
The intention is to revamp their entire product range’s images as part of their $1.2 billion campaign. The huge amount of money is going to cause people to raise their eye-brows after hearing the news. Wow, the latest Pepsi logo costs $10 million dollars to produce. It seems like this is one of the most expensive logos ever designed.
The new Pepsi logo looks very simple which has two circles with a little wavy line and nobody could ever believe such a simple logo design would cost $10 million dollars. I agree that a great logo doesn’t have to be complex because a simple logo could give people a long-lasting impression than a complicated one.
In fact, a simple logo design could cost less than a hundred buck if it were to be designed by a decent and low-cost design online shop such as LogoVale.com.Â
Anyway, you can see how Pepsi’s logos have changed over time by watching the video clip below. It shows the recycled version of an old Diet Pepsi logo from the 80s and then we come to the motif of the logo.
Enjoy watching the Pepsi Logo Design Evolution video clip!
My dear chubby nephew has turned 11 years old today. He is so cute and lovely as ever despite this little boy is getting fatter and fatter 😛
My nephew just wanted to have some toys to play with and didn’t want to have a birthday cake. He is allergic to seafood recently so he didn’t even request us to buy his favourite crabs for him to eat.
This lovely chubby boy had been nagging at me for many many days to beg me to buy him his favourite toy so I brought him to the Toys “R” Us store to pick his toy.Â
Guess what? He had chosen quite an expensive toy set and burnt a hole in my pocket 🙂 Just look at the photo below :

He wanted to eat pizza so we ordered 2 large Hawaiian pizzas for him and the family.

We just have had a simple birthday celebration for our cute little prince today. I wish my chubby nephew happy, healthy, lovely, cute, handsome and clever forever.
