Inspiring And Motivating Quote – Busy, No Time And Do It Tomorrow

I just came across some very inspiring and motivating quotes created by Pravs J. Although I don’t know whom Pravs J. is or what this person does as a living, I’m touched by the 7 meaningful quotes written by him/her.

I find that the inspiring and motivating quotes were created with words of wisdom. The lines are full of philosophy. Here is an example :

When you keep saying you are busy,
then you are never free.

When you keep saying you have no time,
then you will never have the time.

When you keep saying that you will do it tomorrow,
then your tomorrow will never come.

~ Pravs J.

Does it sound familiar to you in our daily life? Do you have friends or family who often tell you that they are busy and have no time for you? Do you put things off till tomorrow when you can actually finish it by today?

If yes, you are in fact hearing all kinds of excuses from the people around you and this is the thing that the quote is trying to tell you. So, why do you want to be a procrastinator? Hmm…..Things to ponder.

Motivational Tip – Kick Away Your Excuses And Start Living In A Positive Direction

Many a time, we hear people around us giving endless excuses for not doing the things that they were supposed to do or were planning to do.

The excuses that they usually give are “no time”, “too busy”, “too difficult to do”, “I love to but…”, “do it some other time”, “don’t have the mood”, “not having enough sleep”, ” have better things to do”, “do it tomorrow” and the list goes on……………………………

I find that the most common excuse among all is to say you are busy. Oh boy, who is not? I feel that if you have the heart to complete a task, you will definitely find time for it. You are determined to make it happen no matter what is stopping you.

If you have loads of excuses and are not successful in realising your dreams, it is obvious that you are the only one who is holding yourself back from success. In fact, you are doing damage to yourself. You have got yourself to blame because you set a goal and then you throw a huge mountain in front of it.

You are responsible for your actions and the situation that you may be in. If you got yourself there, you can definitely get out of it as well.

You have to know that there is always someone out there who is much more worst off than you. They face greater challenges than you do but the fortunate thing is that they didn’t allow their limitation to limit them from realising their dreams.

These extraordinary people are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve their goals and become the best person that they could be. They are highly motivated people who do not allow useless excuses to get in their way. You see, they give no excuses.

So, it is time to kick away your excuses and start living in a positive direction.

Artist David Garibaldi – Amazing Portrait of Christ With His Talent

Artists often give me the impression is that they are cool and calm people who paint their portrait patiently and quietly.

However, it has changed my view on artists lately after watching the process of a few talented artists did their paintings on video. It seems to me is that these artists were either dancing their way or carrying out some martial arts while painting their portraits 😛

Here is a good example to prove what I have just said is true. A very talented artist called David Garibaldi does his painting with his hands while dancing to an inspiring song entitled “The Glory Of It All” by The David Crowder Band.

Watch the video clip below to the very end and see what David Garibaldi’s creation will look like. I find it amazing and I believe it will amaze you too.

What Is That – A Very Touching Greek Short Film Featuring The Relationship Of A Father And His Grown-up Son

A former colleague of mine sent me a very touching and inspiring email entitled “What is That?” Inside the email, there is a link for accessing to the YouTube video clip.

“What is That?” is a Greek short film made in 2007 featuring a father and his grown-up son sitting on a bench. Suddenly a sparrow lands across them.

The father asks the son a very simple question……”What is That?” repeatedly. Guess what? His son becomes impatient and gets mad with his father. Apparently, the father is disappointed with his son’s reaction and he just walks away to his house…………….

Like what my friend has mentioned in his email :

This is a very short but powerful video.
For those who are “growing old”, pass it on to your children to view.
It will make this world a better place for both young and old.
Cherish all that you love, especially those who love you.

I find this “What is That?” short film very touching and inspiring. I feel guilty after watching it. The film says it all about the relationship of aging parents and grown-up children in today’s society.

So, please take a few minutes of your time to watch this short but powerful video clip. Although the film is in Greek, it has subtitles in English. By the way, this is a film directed by Constantin Pilavios.

Clay Dyer – An Inspirational No-Arm and No-Legs Bass-Fishing Fisherman

Here is a video clip about an inspirational bass-fishing fisherman by the name of Clay Dyer. Just like Nick Vujicic, this fisherman doesn’t have any legs and left arm but was born with a tiny right arm.

What Clay Dyer touches people’s hearts the most is that he not only has set a goal for himself that seems impossible, but more than that, he is a young man who is absolutely content with his life.

I think Clay Dyer is indeed an inspiration to us no matter what our obstacles could be.

Inspiring Thoughts – Simple Ways To Live Life To The Fullest

I received an inspiring email entitled “Live Life To The Fullest” from my friend a few days ago. I find that this email was filled with great  inspiring thoughts that help to cultivate our minds and let ourselves to be more positive towards our everyday lives.

Here are the excerpts that I got from the email :

  • Sit in silent for at least 10 minutes each day
  • When you wake up in the morning, complete the following statement : “My purpose is to….today”
  • Live with the 3 E’s….Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy.
  • And the 3 F’s….Faith, Family and Friends.
  • Spend more time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.
  • Dream more while you are awake
  • Try to make at least 3 people smile each day.
  • Smile and laugh more. It will keep the energy vampires away.
  • Life isn’t fair but it is still good.

All these are simple and yet powerful thoughts. They help to enlighten the way that we think and re-kindle our soul. Practise them and let us live our lives to the fullest.

A Moment Of Zen – Words Of Wisdom

I guess most of us are inevitably feeling stressed out at work or with our daily chores especially during this global economic downturn. We could be so busy until we might not notice the changes happening around us.

I think we ought to learn how to stay calm in order to have a cool and clear mind to think rationally. There is no use to grumble and complain about how unfair things might happen before our eyes.

So, stay calm by having a moment of Zen and appreciate the words of wisdom featuring in the video clip :

Inspiring Story Of A Four-Finger Pianist

Take Time To Do Whatever You Need To Do

I came across an inspiring poem when I was doing some reading in the 90s. The message that the poem is trying to bring across is to advise people to take time to do whatever you need to do.

Coincidently, one of my seniors also shared the same poem with me during the early days of my working life. She was full of enthusiasm to spread joy to others. I remember that my senior would grab whoever walk near her and read out the inspiring poem to the person.

She did it repeatedly without feeling tired or troublesome. However, my senior’s act made some of our colleagues feel that she was a bit insane and forceful. Anyway, I feel that she was just too passionate about bringing inspirational thoughts to others so as to help people to live a better life.

Want to know what it takes to Take Time To Do Whatever You Need To Do?

Here is the inspiring poem :

Take time to laugh
It is the music of the soul.

Take time to think
It is the source of power.

Take time to play
It is the source of perpetual youth.

Take time to read
It is the fountain of wisdom.

Take time to pray
It is the greatest power on earth.

Take time to love and be loved
     It is a God-given privilege.

Take time to be friendly
It is the road to happiness.

Take time to give
It is too short a day to be selfish.

Take time to work
It is the price of success.

So, I think we need to really slow down at times and take the time to do whatever we need to do besides just working hard like a cow. After all, we are human beings rather than a working machine.

Thus, let us slow down a bit and learn to appreciate life.
