Pay Tribute to Michael Jackson – This Is It Movie

I went to see the “This Is It” movie on Tuesday night and it was in a way to pay tribute to the late Michael Jackson who passed away on 25 June 2009.

This Is It” movie is actually a compilation of rehearsals, interviews and backstage footage of Michael Jackson as he prepared for his series of sold-out shows in London. But too bad, he passed away suddenly just a few days before the concert would take place.

Michael Jackson was full of energy and flushed with enthusiasm throughout the rehearsals. Although he was thin, Michael Jackson looked fit and healthy whether or not he was on or off stage. It’s definitely hard to imagine such a healthy-looking person would die suddenly. Life is really unpredictable!

You can tell that Michael Jackson was very professional and serious about his performance. He knew his songs and dance steps very well. He also got himself involved in a lot of things such as telling the music director when to slow down with his music, telling the electric guitarist when to shine her skill, telling his co-singer when to look towards the audience and so on.

Michael Jackson was a perfectionist and he was in control of the rehearsals to make sure that everybody know what they were supposed to do in order to make the concert a success. However, Michael Jackson never knew that this was a tour he never got to begin.

After seeing the movie, I must say Michael Jackson was a real superstar, a talented artiste and a borned performer. He was the real King of POP of our time.

I often feel that Michael Jackson had a kind look in his face and I believe he was a kind-hearted person in real life despite all those negative news that were against him during his prime. Anyway, everything is history. This Is It.

Susan Boyle – Early Recording Done At Her Own Expense In 1999

I stumbled upon a website that was embedded with video clips and happened to listening to Susan Boyle sing a few songs recorded in 1999. Wow, I must say that she had sung the songs so well.

She recorded the songs at her own expense after she was rejected by several record companies, TV and radio talent competitions. It seems like those record companies were judging a book by its cover rather than going deeper to discover the real talent of a person. Thanks goodness, we have got Britain’s Got Talent.

Susan Boyle distributed the audio tapes to only a handful of her closest friends in the village of Blackburn ten years ago. She told her friends to take good care of the audio tapes which had cost her all her savings to record the songs. If I were Susan Boyle’s friends, I will feel honored to receiving her precious gift.

The songs that Susan Boyle has had recorded include “Cry Me a River” and “Killing Me Softly with His Song“. After listening to her songs recorded in 1999, I must say that Susan Boyle was born with an amazingly good voice. How come nobody has discovered her earlier?

Susan Boyle – Sang Wild Horses On Season Finale Of America’s Got Talent 2009

Susan Boyle has disappeared for quite some time since the May finale of Britain’s Got Talent this year. I’m glad to see that she is back on stage again to perform on the season finale of America’s Got Talent 2009.

Susan Boyle is the greatest YouTube sensation and her angelic voice has stunned the world within a short period of time. I know that many people were touched by her performance when she sang “I Dreamed A Dream” and can’t help but to watch her video clip over and over again.

I often feel that Susan Boyle deserve success and she should make a comeback despite losing the first prize to Diversity during the season finale of Britain’s Got Talent in May. Her clean voice is much more powerful and pleasant to the ears than many professional singers.

The song that Susan Boyle sang at the finale of America’s Got Talent was “Wild Horses“. Again, she proves to the world that she has a terribly good voice. I believe she will soon become one of the greatest and most well-respected singers of our time.

Did You Know – The Progression Of Information Technology

Here is an enlightening video clip on the progression of information technology being researched by Karl Fisch, Scott McLeod and Jeff Brenman. It tells us about what is happening right now.

I believe this is revolving the economies around the world right now as we are experiencing a major shift into technology-driven economies. Information technology has changed our everyday lives tremendously. Computers and internet have made our lives easier and better. They have given us access to the world.

From this, you can see that the internet has a very huge potential if you wanted to do business online or make more friends through social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Friendster, etc.

In my opinion, the younger generations and those who keep up to the latest technologies will be much more internet-proficient than those who are PC-illiterate. Perhaps it is time to start picking up internet skills so as not to lag too far behind.

There are many reasons to always be learning new skills as the web is the fastest changing environment that we have. We must keep on learning new things whenever there is an opportunity. So, pick up a skill and start learning…….Right HERE…..Right NOW!

Trendy Worship Song By Mary Mary – Shackles (Praise You)

I stumbled upon a music video featuring a dance-and-praise worship song by Mary Mary. The title of the song is called “Shackles (Praise You)”.

I find that this is against the norm kind of worship song because it is very lively and refreshing. You might want to start your day off by singing and dancing along with this “Praise You” music video. Enjoy!

JK Wedding Entrance Dance – A Very Entertaining and Against The Norm Wedding Ceremony

Church wedding ceremony is usually solemn and serious. The bride and groom walk stiffly down the church aisle before reaching the altar.

Perhaps this traditional way of having a church wedding ceremony is too rigid for some people. That is why a group of young people has had decided to do something different and against the norm.

There was a wedding took place at a church in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The best man, best women and even the wedding couple were dancing their way down the church aisle.  This JK Wedding Entrance Dance is very entertaining and against the norm.

I find that the video clip is very special and amusing. It’s full of fun and happiness. The song entitled “Forever” by Chris Brown is also very lively and entertaining.

This is possibly one of the most infectious and uplifting wedding video clip that you will see this year. Enjoy!

The Wonder Girls – I Want Nobody But You [English Version]

I have had written a Blog post about the Wonder Girls‘ hit song entitled “I Want Nobody But You” on 23 Sep 2008. The embedded video clip is sung in Korean with a few lines in English.

I want nobody nobody but you

I don’t like anybody else

If it’s not you, I don’t want it

I want nobody nobody nobody nobody

I want nobody body

Now, you don’t have to guess what the Wonder Girls are singing if you don’t understand Korean. Here comes an English version of the “I Want Nobody But You” song. Thanks to my friend, the GFF, for informing me about this new release of the English version.

Enjoy watching the video :

The Voices Of Glory – A Touching Moment On The America’s Got Talent 2009 Show

Happened to watch the first episode of the America’s Got Talent 2009 show on YouTube recently. Obviously, this is the American version of the popular Britain’s Got Talent.

A trio singing group called The Voices Of Glory was interviewed by the judges on the stage before they started their performance on that night. The trio consists of 2 brothers (aged 13 & 16) and a sister (aged 9) from a black family.

One of the America’s Got Talent 2009 judges, Pierce Morgan, asked who their inspiration was. The eldest brother, Michael, replied saying that their mother had got a head-on collision with a drunk driver and stayed in a coma for 8 months about 3 years ago.

They sang by their mom’s bedside to comfort her. Besides singing to their mom, these 3 brothers and sister, also went round to sing to all the people in the hospital. I think that was very touching.

The Voices Of Glory sang the song entitled “God Bless America” and they proved to people that their performanc was one of the best in the America’s Got Talent show.

Susan Boyle – Sings The Song “Memory” From The Musical “Cats” at Semi-Final Round 1 Of Britain’s Got Talent 2009

Hear Susan Boyle sing the song entitled “Memory” from the musical “Cats” at the semi-final round #1 of the Britain’s Got Talent 2009 show.

Although there is some shakiness at the start of the singing, it doesn’t mar the overall performance of Susan Boyle during the semi-final.

A point to note is that it is surprising to see Simon Cowell apologized to Susan Boyle for what they had treated her during the audition. Perhaps, he has apologized for all the people that have hurt her.

I personally like Susan Boyle’s first performance singing “I Dreamed A Dream” at the audition more than this one singing the “Memory” at the semi-final round #1. Anyway, I long to see more great performance from Susan Boyle.
