Yes, it takes about 40 mins or so to walk from the Venus Drive open car park to the Treetop Walk. It's such a long walk before finding the Treetop's suspension bridge. But it will take even longer (about 3 hrs) if you are walking from the main entrance of the MacRitchie Reservoir to the bridge.
